  • To receive a B for the course:
The participant is involved in the course. The responses are generally thoughful and show real thinking about the issue at hand. Occasionally responses seem brief and could have used more time. The participant interacts with others in the course though not always on a regular basis.
  • To receive a C for the course:
The participant is intermittently involved in the course. Most of the course work is completed in a satisfactory way, but there are frequent missed assignments. The participant interacts with others in the class in a sporadic way.
  • To receive an F for the course:
The participant fails to complete the course work in a an acceptable way. There are long periods of time when he or she has not been involved. The work that has been done seems very hurried and unreflective.
Be sure to take note of the drop date for the course; after that date you will not be able to withdraw from the graduate credit status, and you will receive a grade on your transcript.
